hey guys, sorry to bring up an old topic.

I'm currently putting a 2" body lift into my 80, however i cannot get the front mounts to come free from the body i've been trying for 1 and a bit days and it's fast becoming frustrating. i have every other mount either loose or replaced except for those damn front ones, i've undone the two 14mm locking nuts and the two 14mm bolts but i cant get the mount to separate from the body.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

This was my problem as well, they were rusted in. I ended up using a bottle jack on the bottom of the bolt lifting the entire truck up then jumped up and down on the bullbar until the pressure was enough break it free.

I like this write up. So Thanks

I have been thinking for sometime about a body lift and I think it is on the cards but it won't happen until/if I end up with a set of 35" tyres under the old girl....

Mind you I still have a list that I have to get through, Lucky that there is a good 3 years of tread on the 33" BFG A/T's
