Hey Guys,

i have just noticed oil dripping down the back of my swivel hub and assume it is my axel seal that is leaking. Would i be correct in assuming this?

Also is this hard to change at home as a backyard mechanic?

Cheers ben

Yep its the axel seal. No its not that hard, just f'n messy. I just did mine and also replaced the swivel bearings and wheel bearings as they were also worn.

Make sure you have lots of moly based grease for the CV's, bearing grease for the wheel bearings and heaps of rags on hand. Beer also helps.
