Really, go on guess.........

Ok, ok. I won a ride in a HRT V8 supercar!!! I can't wait (well, actually I'm forced to wait until May :( ) I can hardly contain my excitement as I've won bugger all in my life - the most I've ever won was $72 at the casino with a freebie chip on roulette.

The wait will work in your favour, cause your AB's are going to be sore on about the 3rd corner I reckon. So, you better buy one of those AB workout machine thingy's and get started mate. They do laps in the older V8's at Queensland Raceway, the G forces are incredible when going into and around corners. You will have the biggest worried looking smile on your face the whole time!

Cheers, Scott

Just think how much you could have auctioned that for.

We had a day at Wakefield a few years back, we drove the auscars and thought they were pretty good, then they brought out the v8 supercar, our mouths were watering but we only got in as passengers (can't imagine why just because two guys lost the auscars), chalk and cheese between the two and while it was a real race car it's still gonna be slower than what your gonna do, you are not going to believe a car can turn a corner the way these things do, they are rapidly approaching needing G suits, apparently even the batteries are different as normal batteries collapse under the force.

You will either scream like a girl (which you will never admit) or only remember part of the ride because your brain box couldn't cope :-)

Enjoy and post the video

Barry

Well, I didnt scream like a girl. I cant belive how quick these cars are. Watching it on tv and from the side of the track does it no justise at all - its so much quicker when your in the car. My only gripes are that Barbagallo is a quick lap time so we didnt get much time in the car with our laps, and secondly that I'll most likely never have the chance to do that again. Unfortantly I got the back seat, but I still wouldnt knock it back. Ended up with Garth Driving

Nice, I want to do that one of these days, I can only imagine how much fun that would be.

So did it inspire you to add a few go-fast goodies to the Torrie or wind up the boost in the cruiser
