Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before.
When I turn right at low speeds (generally in second gear) I get a intemitant vibration come through the steering wheel on the return.
Hubs are disengaged.
Steering damper is near new, but the bolt that mounts bracket to the chassis doesn't torque up properly. Its tight, but not solid. Could this be my culprit?
I can't get inside the chassis to add an extra nut, so may have to tap it from an M10 to M12.

Any other suggestions?

It would be a good start to get the damper tightened properly. Another thing to check is the front panhard rod - sometimes the bolts are loose or the bushes worn or a combo of both. Check for worn bushes with a large screwdriver between the bush and chassis mount. There should be no obvious play.

Also check for cracks in the chassis around the steering box and panhard rod mounting bracket.
