They are obviously way stronger than they look!

I've been to the SA branch and looked. they have all sorts of stuff and supply to trade pretty much exclusively. At least that was the case when I went in. If you buy any of this sort of stuff from a 4wd shop it most likely comes from these guys.
They look plenty strong and their selection is large. I will be getting my slides and latches from them in the near future.
But I have to get my old man to write up a purchase order for his business and they will do trade prices

Good old ebay for me. I have some spare sliders (227kg locking) but only the 1 side. Which is good because you just buy the non locking the same size and vwwaahhllaaa.

I'm sure these are great but my outbacks have the metal bar which slids between heavy duty bearings and that is how I would make a set which is what one of my mates did his are awesome and they were obviously way cheaper making them up himself. I guess whatever floats ya boat will do as long as they do the job

The steel and bearings are stronger (if done correctly). I have them on 1 side and the locking 227kg slides on the other. I can almost jump up and down on them when fully opened. But to make a good set of drawers isnt cheap by any means.
