Got a switch on the dash next to the diff lock switch, its marked ECT, and when pressed a green power light comes on, I hav'nt got an owners book, been right through workshop manual, and none of my mates have got it in theirs. Would I be right in assuming it is some sort of take of control?

My money says the vehicle is/was an automatic? This switch probably moves the shift point up the rev range for acceleration or load carrying?
