What a great spot - me and a mate went away for a weekend June 09 to wet his new baby's head - It's not due for 8 weeks but figured we should get in early.

Had a great weekend, best & Biggest Steak I've ever eaten & I mean it. Great Service, Great Food, Cold Beer & we had the joint to ourselves.

The Blue Duck in in the VIC High Country in the Alpine national Park on the Cobungra River.

You can even take the missus, she can rest at the cabins while the boys head bush if she's not into 4WDing & there is plenty to see for the kids as well.

I PROMISE THIS IS NOT A PAID ADVERT & The joint is packed at Easter time so I wouldn't travel during this period but thats my choice ....

yer wicked place isnt it, iv been up there a few times for kayaking on the mitta, we would start there then get picked up and the next place u could get out witch was like 40 ks down the river at some big bridge (forgot the name)
